Grant Us Hope

This year the GCATD 2022 Conference Committee is working with Grant Us Hope to raise awareness and funds to help save young lives. Now more than ever, our young people are facing an insurmountable mental health crisis. Please help us in this fight by donating as part of our 2022 GCATD Conference initiative. “Our vision at Grant Us Hope is to Save Young Lives, Together. We work to reduce youth suicide and promote mental health through collaborative, evidence-based initiatives. Our flagship program is Hope Squad. Hope Squad is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program that is embedded in schools. Students learn how to identify their classmates who may be struggling, communicate with them effectively, and connect them to the help they need before it is too late. In addition, Hope Squad members educate the student body about mental health, reduce stigma, and increase belonging. We currently implement Hope Squad in 200+ Ohio schools. In addition to Hope Squad, we offer mental health trainings for educators and community members and provide parent programming around navigating youth mental health.”
