9:15 - 10:15a (Georgian II)

Join this session to find out how EY and Power Presentations successfully transformed a face-to-face facilitation skills training program for SMEs into an online course featuring live webinars, remote coaching, AI-based software, gamification and a learning hub. This approach resulted in a measurable, scalable and impactful training that saved $500,000 in travel costs, $1.8 million in billable hours and allowed an additional 100 SMEs to receive training in the first year.

You'll learn the process EY used to transform the training and how they overcame the challenge of providing presentation skills coaching virtually with a combination of AI-based analysis, personalized instructor review and peer feedback.

About Debbie Halkovics

Debbie Halkovics brings nearly 20 years of management, sales, marketing and training experience to Power Presentations.

She began her career at a Steelcase furniture dealership as a New Business Development Account Manager and quickly rose through the ranks to become General Manager of Services. During her eight-year tenure, Debbie launched new lines of business, increased remanufacturing sales by more than 600 percent and earned several awards, including Top Sales Producer, along the way.

Next, Debbie transitioned to Diebold Nixdorf where she spent nearly 10 years calling on Fortune 500 clients. Debbie was recognized for record sales growth and earned a role as Certified Advisor for new sales associates, coaching solution development and product application. In this role, Debbie advanced her skills in relationship development, high profile communication and strategic planning. In recognition of her superior performance, she was awarded “Diebold North America Strategic Accounts Sales Associate of the Year.”

Debbie then moved into the highly competitive event rental industry, where she helped expand the company’s reach by first shattering her sales goals and then, from an advanced position, developing sales training, productivity tools, and process improvements. In this capacity, Debbie honed her message that communication skills are key to any growth strategy. To ensure her team stood out among the sea of competitors, she coached them to build a personal brand that reflected expertise, excellence, confidence and empathy. This helped to make the sales professionals themselves the unquestionable reason a client should say yes!

It was a natural transition for Debbie to bring her passion for communication excellence to Power Presentations where she can continue to spread the message about the importance of communication skills and build the next generation of leaders.

Debbie received her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Akron, and resides in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a yoga enthusiast and enjoys downhill skiing, entertaining and dog training.
