At our next Learning Leaders Forum we’ll be getting a little ‘brainy’ by exploring what neuroscience can teach us about learning.

It doesn’t matter whether the delivery of training is instructor-led events or elearning, the principles of brain-based learning can inform our approach and enhance our results. Whether you are knowledgeable of neuroscience strategies as applied to teaching & learning or a novice, you are invited to join us to share your experiences or add your questions to our wide-ranging discussion of this interesting topic.

Questions we’ll consider:

  • Just what does neuroscience say about how we learn best?
  • Who are some voices within the field of neuroscience studying this?
  • What brain-based strategies have we experimented within our own organizations? Has it made a difference?
  • How do these ideas apply to traditional classroom learning? elearning?

Our open forum format is built on the practice of mutual learning and the collective genius that emerges from sharing our questions, comments and experiences with our Learning Leader peers in an informal setting. We invite you to add your voice to the conversation. Below are the details . . .

PREWORK: Below are links to two short articles that will serve to prime the pump for our discussion.

You are encouraged to bring additional resources you are aware of that may be of interest to the group.
