Workshop: Include All Learners - Integrating Accessibility into your Learning Experiences

In this session, you will learn how to design learning experiences that address the needs of your learners. Many people struggle with making their courses accessible to all audiences.

In the United States, one in four people has a disability. Accessibility is no longer nice to have. Come join us for this workshop and walk away with practical techniques on how you can include all of your learners.

In this session, you will learn:

• How to integrate accessibility into your learning by design, not reaction.
• How to address common misconceptions about accessibility.
• How to integrate accessibility into your storyboarding and design process.
• Tools and resources that can help you to create accessible learning.

Jonathan Wilson is the owner and independent learning experience designer at LJ Multimedia Learning Solutions. Jonathan brings more than 20 years of experience developing successful learning experiences with Procter and Gamble, Assurex Health, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. With a B.A. in Visual Communication Technology and an M.Ed. in Learning Design, Jonathan marries his artful visual design with clear, effective learning strategies.
