There are two parts to being successful in one’s role. One is having the ability to master competencies related to that role. The other is ensuring those competencies are put to work to achieve results.  We’ll discuss the 5 key reasons using a competency-drive talent management strategy can produce big results.

Incorporating competencies to provide effective coaching and development:

  1. How would you identify competencies which are important to succeed in someone’s job?
  2. How could competencies be put to work to improve performance/results?
  3. How would you advise your clients to use competencies to build organizational capabilities?
  4. What are the parallels between core values and core competencies?
  5. What are some other talent management practices where competencies will come into play?
