Do you know how to identify and develop your high potential future leaders? High potential leaders are often defined as individual contributors or managers who could perform successfully in leadership roles that are one to two levels above their current roles over the next two to five years.

Learn more from our friends at Right Management - global leader in talent and career management workforce solutions. Facilitators for this session will be Right Management’s Brandon Bernzott, Vice President of Business Development and Beth Linderbaum, Senior Talent Management Consultant!

Performance appraisal analysis suggests that 30% of current high performing managers are also high potential leaders, but the actual figure is believed to be closer to 20% or less. Making the right high potential selection decisions at the beginning of the process and ensuring meaningful development opportunities is essential to long term success in managing a strong leadership talent pipeline.

Following this discussion, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the key factors that should be measured for every high potential candidate and the single factor found to have the greatest influence on a high potential’s ability to lead in today’s marketplace
  • Describe appropriate and effective assessment tools and processes that can be used to select and develop high potentials
  • Outline a proven approach that will accelerate the development of high potentials by creating sustained behavior changes that will prepare them for future roles
  • List common mistakes made in managing high potential talent pools
