Consultants Forum: How to Use Adult Learning For Any Type of Communication

  • Forum meetings focus on topics relevant to participants, workplace learning and performance, general business related issues and work/life balance. Some meetings are open discussions. Others have a focused topic including book discussions or with a subject matter expert, often a Forum member.

This month, the Consultant Forum will discuss two key elements of any presentation or training event: how to engage the participants and keep them engaged during the event, and how to increase the odds of seeing desired behavior change on the job. 

In short, when the audience expects to be entertained or informed (only), how do you incorporate adult learning principles into presentations that bring about behavior change? 

As always, come to share and learn from each other.
