"People will soon get tired of staring at a plywood box every night."  -- Daryl F. Zanuck, head of 20th Century Fox, commenting on television in 1946

"The need for creativity is changing how the workplace is organized and what people do. A company's future depends upon how well it acquires, interprets, and acts upon information; and how workers interpret that information is as important as the information itself."

In the article “The Art of Creativity*,” D. Goldman and P. Kaufman (published Mar. 1 1992) state, “Interpretation is, in fact, a creative act.”

Let’s reconvene with our fellow Learning Leaders and discuss:

  • How much do you believe creativity is influenced by our feelings?
  • Our belief that we can speak without fear of retribution…
  • Our feeling of being trusted by others…
  • Our confidence in our own intuition…
How do we maintain the ability to see things in fresh ways (the life source of the creative process)?

What inspires YOU?

We will also poll the group to determine additional topics of interest for this year’s LLF calendar.

*The article is lengthy but worth the read. NO time to pre-read, no worries! ...We'll provide a Learning Leaders cliff note version at the meeting ;-)

See you there!

Learning Leaders is for training managers / directors and learning leaders or anyone who can influence strategy, direction, perception or adoption of training in one's organization.
