From the Desk of GCATD President, Kerry Loeffler
As we transition to a new year, we begin by honoring Pam Nintrup for her leadership as Chapter president during the past six years. Pam diligently guided the Board to create a solid foundation for our Chapter to grow and prosper. Thank you Pam for your unending commitment and service!
This is also a perfect time for us to acknowledge the volunteer efforts of Valerie Plis as she transitions off the Board. Valerie most recently served as director of Member Engagement and previous to her engagement position; she tirelessly led Chapter programming as the vice president of Professional Development. Thanks are also extended to Jeff Imel for his contributions toward our annual conference. Jeff has worked for many years on the Conference Planning Committee and this past year, he took on the leadership of the Conference Committee. More
Welcome New GCATD Board Members!
There are many changes in your chapter board this year. We'd like to welcome Rosalie Catalano (left) to the Board as our vice president of Finance. Rosalie joined the Board mid-term last year and she is actively networking among ATD chapters to establish contacts and locate resources for budgeting and chapter operations. We also welcome Mary Tettenhorst (far left) to the Board as vice president of Membership. While Mary is new to the Board, she has capably served on the Membership Committee and now couples her experience with her enthusiasm to lead our Chapter’s recruitment efforts.
Other changes for our Board include Elaine Suess bringing her marketing and communications expertise to her new Board role as vice president of Communications and Randi Sandlin taking on two new functions – serving as our president-elect and Conference Committee chair. Randi has already convened the Conference Committee and they are earnestly planning for the best conference to date on October 14, 2016!
