  • SIG meetings focus on helping consultants develop their expertise, work effectively, and establish successful client relationships. Through meeting in person, we build deeper connections that will facilitate collaboration within GCATD and greater contributions to the learning and development of our clients. Each meetings focuses on a particular topic. If you see in a need for a particular topic, please contact the facilitator.

More formally, Appreciative Inquiry (AI) has been described as: "a change methodology grounded in theories from the disciplines of organization behavior and the sciences of sociology and psychology, with a good dose of metaphyics." Less formally, it is described as a positive, strengths-based approach to change that invites the “system” of a business or community to contribute to and co-create desired positive change.

Join us to share in a discussion with Elaine Suess, Executive Coach and Certified Appreciative Inquiry practitioner, as we take on the Appreciative approach to change, a process associated with it, and how inviting the system in can make all the difference.
