In 2026, the GCATD Organizational Development (OD) Special Interest Group is excited to bring you the Global OD Competency Framework series. This internationally recognized framework outlines the core knowledge, skills, and behaviors that define effective OD professionals and provides a common language for the practice of organization development.
Efficient Designers excel at creating interventions, processes, and solutions that are practical, inclusive, and aligned with business needs. In this area, the focus is on designing work in ways that are simple yet impactful, using evidence, data synthesis, and effective process consulting to enhance performance and outcomes. This meeting continues our Global OD Competency Framework series and will explore how to facilitate group collaboration, simplify complex challenges, and measure process effectiveness for continuous improvement.
