Engaging, effective online training isn’t about slapping a music recording over a PowerPoint presentation with big fonts and emailing it out. It’s about designing a learning experience, it’s about grabbing your participants’ attention and holding on until they "get the message."

GCASTD has invited training professionals for a panel discussion to share their latest and greatest best practices with us for online learning. We don’t just want a high level brain dump on the strategy of learning, we are going to provide actual best practices and practical step by steps - "here’s how to do it" lessons.

Panelists: Sharon Sapienz (Facilitator), Kevin C. Moore (Ph.D., Chief Learning Officer of TiER 1 Performance Solutions), Tim Rooks (Director, Macy's Stores Learning & Development), Herb Bivens (Senior Manager, Learning & Development for Luxottica) and Mary Jo Payne (Ph.D., Campus College Chair, University of Phoenix, Cincinnati Campus).

April 19 Breakfast Meeting (8:00 - 9:15 AM)*
Registration, networking and breakfast: 7:30AM
Program concludes: 9:15 AM

*Everyone who attends the April 19 program receives: an eLearning Project Work Plan, eLearning Glossary, Guide with Free, Open Source and Inexpensive Tools & Resources for the eLearning professional and The eLearning Guild's Handbook of eLearning Strategy!
