Learning Leaders SIG: A Leader's Role in Building/Maintaining Cultures that Foster Workplace Productivity

Talent Development leaders are crucial in ensuring productivity exists in the workplace. With the right environment, this challenging task is both achievable and manageable. Without the right environment, it can be overwhelming or impossible to achieve.

The February Learning Leaders SIG will discuss the attributes needed for a good working culture and the leader’s pivotal role and responsibility in achieving it and maintaining it. Specific examples will be provided of what strategies work and those that don't. The discussion will also entail what influence Talent Development Leaders can/should bring to the organizations they serve. Convener: Leah Cridlin

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Rochelle Thompson is the Founder/CEO of Link Communications, LLC. She teams with organizations in building productive cultures, enhancing employees’ soft-skills, and increasing safety in the workplace. Through her successful 10-year tenure in the utility industry/local government as a Training Manager, she accomplished the following:

• increased productivity by maintaining structure with proper training and key messages,
• enhanced the learning culture with interactive workshops/programs,
• influenced leadership on matters of team building, collaboration, and problem solving.
