About the Speaker
Ryan Kaiser is an intellectual property and advertising attorney, and Managing Partner of KAISER IP, LLC in Chicago. He helps small and mid-sized consumer product companies and creative entrepreneurs build and protect unforgettable brands. Ryan’s practice focuses on the development, protection, and licensing of copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, as well as advertising regulation and compliance. Ryan often advises clients on matters concerning proper use of intellectual property in advertising and promotional materials, such as content creation and licensing, multimedia clearances, fair use, public domain questions, social media issues, and other copyright matters. Ryan began his career advising clients on trademark portfolio management, audits, and strategy, as well as trademark and copyright procurement and licensing. He has managed trademark portfolios of some of the world’s most well-known consumer brands. When he is not busy helping clients, Ryan is either on the trails running with his dog Henry, or volunteering for Lawyers for the Creative Arts, a non-profit organization assisting artists through pro bono legal representation.
