About the Speaker, John McCarthy, M.Ed., SPHR
John McCarthy is a devoted husband to Julie and father to his three young children. He is a lifelong Cincinnati resident with a passion for equipping families with applicable faith development within Catholic Christian community.
Professionally, John holds a bachelor's degree in business from Ohio University and a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from Xavier University. After a few years in the workforce, John launched his first entrepreneurial venture, AGI Management, a recruiting firm focused on managerial placement within the hospitality industry. He has since launched The Purpose Promise to walk disengaged workers into a better sense of their purpose and is the operations director for At Work On Purpose, a ministry whose mission is to transform the work world for Christ.
John dabbles in many other small business ventures. He has consulted dozens of start-up ventures and helped others take their dreams to action in launching businesses. John serves on numerous Executive boards, including The Purposed Parish, Neighborhoods Embracing Transformation, and At work On Purpose.
